About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated experienced Mining Operators to join our team. As an Operator, you will be comfortable performing the full range of mining tasks to achieve production targets in a dynamic and changing environment. This is a great FIFO/DIDO opportunity located at Ravenswood Gold Mine in North-East Queensland.

You must have unlimited working rights in Australia to apply for this role.

We are seeking expressions of interest for the following positions:

• Hydro Mining Service Crew
• Cannon Operators
• Control Room Operators

Key Accountabilities

• Relocation and assembly of high-pressure water pipework
• Relocation and set up of high-pressure water cannons and associated plant and equipment
• Carry out earthworks when required
• Monitor cannon movement and placement for next cuts
• Installation of discharge piping to support production requirements
• Installation and cleaning of drain pipes
• Assist maintenance trades during routine maintenance, breakdowns and shutdowns as required
• Ensure all mining operations are carried out and maintained safely
• Working 2/2 roster or 1/1 roster with a combination of night shift work
• FIFO/DIDO depending on area of residence

Skills/ Selection Criteria (qualifications & experience)

• Previous experience in Mining Operations, Hydro Mining experience would be desirable
• Current C Class Driver’s License
• Cert III in Surface extraction
• Strong safety and quality focus
• Skid steer Loader (Desirable)
• Telehandler (Desirable)
• Excavator (Desirable)
• Marine License (Desirable)
