Wellpoint Dewatering Solution Delivered for Modcon Civil- SA

Our South Australian team was recently engaged by Modcon Civil to design and deliver a tailored dewatering solution in Robe, a coastal township on South Australia's south-east coast, located approximately five hours from our South Australia branch.

Supporting the construction of a new fuel station development, effective groundwater management was critical to the safe installation of underground fuel storage tanks. Following an assessment of the site's coastal groundwater conditions and excavation requirements, our team designed a wellpoint dewatering solution to achieve the required groundwater drawdown and provide dry, stable excavation conditions.

Commencing on 23 June and completed on 10 July, the solution performed reliably throughout the project, enabling the safe and efficient installation of the fuel tanks. Despite the logistical challenges of a remote regional location, the team successfully mobilised, monitored and maintained the system throughout the contract, supporting Modcon Civil's construction program and helping keep the project on schedule.
