Powering Remote Mining Operations with Reliable Off-Grid Energy

National Pump & Energy was engaged to deliver and commission a complete remote power solution to support critical underground services and ongoing mine site operations in a highly remote location.

The project scope included the installation and commissioning of two 1450kVA Twin Power generators, a transformer, and a 30,000-litre extended-run fuel tank, providing a robust and dependable power package designed for continuous operation. To enhance operational reliability and visibility, the entire system was integrated with Starlink-enabled back-to-base monitoring, allowing real-time performance tracking and remote oversight.

Operating in remote environments requires equipment that can perform safely and consistently under demanding conditions. By combining high-capacity generation, extended fuel autonomy, and advanced monitoring capabilities, National Pump & Energy delivered a turnkey power solution that supports uninterrupted site operations while reducing the need for onsite intervention.

The project highlights NPE's capability to mobilise, install and commission large-scale power infrastructure in remote environments, ensuring reliable energy supply for essential mining operations.
