Sewage Bypass Management Project Tuross, NSW

NPE Temporary Sewage Bypass Management Project Underway in Tuross, NSW

NPE is pleased to announce that it has been engaged by IronBuilt Infrastructure to commence the temporary sewage bypass management and construction project in Tuross, NSW. The project aims to facilitate the upgrade of the existing infrastructure by the Civil team.

NPE has diligently developed a Bypass Management plan and obtained approval from the Council, ensuring transparency and compliance with all stakeholders. The plan is designed to support the successful outcome of the project by implementing robust management systems.

With an understanding of local Council standards and requirements, NPE is fully equipped with the necessary management, resources, and capabilities to achieve the project objectives. These include the completion of pumping and pipeline installation within 5 working days from possession of the site and thorough testing of all equipment and pipelines before commencement of the project works.

In adherence to safety and environmental responsibilities, NPE is committed to maintaining appropriate safety, environmental, and quality control measures throughout the course of the project.

As part of the project, NPE has supplied two submersible wastewater pumps set up with portable temporary solid discharge lines and transfer, ensuring the operational efficiency of the temporary wet well in a duty/standby configuration. The level of the temporary wet well will be monitored for accuracy, and real-time monitoring of discharge will be facilitated through a flow meter to promptly address any leaks or blockages.

To minimize disruption to local residents, NPE has accessed mains power via the existing board to operate the temporary bypass pumps. Additionally, NPE Online Telemetry Tools will be employed to monitor the pumps, incoming power, level of the temporary wet well, and flow, ensuring the effective management and oversight of the project.

NPE is dedicated to delivering this project in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner, and looks forward to a successful outcome that benefits the community of Tuross, NSW.
