Wellpoint Dewatering System Rottnest Island
Compact Wellpoint Dewatering System Delivered for Rottnest Island WWPS Project
NPE recently delivered a compact wellpoint dewatering system for a Type 10 Wastewater Pump Station (WWPS) on Rottnest Island, Western Australia. With groundwater levels approximately 2.4 metres above the base level, the project demanded a dependable solution to maintain dry excavation conditions.
Demonstrating our capability to operate in remote and logistically challenging environments, NPE mobilised all plant and equipment via barge. The wellpoint system was successfully installed, with all discharge water directed into a designated infiltration basin in accordance with environmental management plans.
This project showcases NPE’s expertise in groundwater control, remote mobilisation, and environmentally conscious operations—core strengths that support infrastructure development across Western Australia.
