Bypass Solutions Victoria

NPE was contracted to carry out an emergency stormwater bypass installation due to the pump station experiencing multiple pump failures, which reduced pump station capacity. New replacement pumps had been ordered for the pump station, but there was a substantial lead time for the replacement pumps’ arrival. It is even more critical to have a temporary bypass system installed if any of the remaining pump station pumps fail or to cover any major weather events while waiting on the replacement pumps. 
 
We had limited area to work with as we had to keep clear access into the building from the street for future new pump replacement works. We utilised one of the existing pump station discharge pipes to discharge our temporary bypass.
