Bypass Pumping Solution at Boundary Creek

National Pump & Energy (NPE) was engaged by the Water Corporation’s Water Resource Development Team (WRDT) to implement a robust bypass pumping solution at Boundary Creek during essential rehabilitation works. The primary objective was to maintain continuous creek flow while safeguarding the surrounding environment.
To achieve this, NPE deployed three high-capacity submersible pumps housed within a custom-engineered protective cage system. These pumps were fully automated to adapt to fluctuating flow conditions and were supported by dedicated power and fuel supplies to guarantee uninterrupted operation.
A 350-metre discharge pipeline, complete with advanced flow control infrastructure, ensured efficient water management throughout the project. NPE’s proprietary telemetry system enabled 24/7 remote monitoring, providing real-time performance data and rapid response capabilities.
In addition to equipment supply and installation, NPE delivered comprehensive site services, including daily inspections, round-the-clock monitoring, and on-call support. This project stands as a testament to NPE’s expertise in managing complex, high-flow bypass operations in environmentally sensitive areas.
