The NPE philosophy of giving back to our local community continued recently with the support of the Wests Tigers Junior U12’s Rugby League team who competed in the Jason Hetherington Cup in Gladstone.

Against teams from all over Queensland, the young men fought their way to an impressive result for the weekend, just missing out on the finals. After 9 games of football in two days, the team made it to within one game of the semis, but were unfortunately beaten in a tough battle.

Team coordinator, Shane Reid, said that the boys thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, which would not have been possible without the generous support of NPE. “On behalf of the team I would like to sincerely thank NPE for making the weekend a success and helping the boys to get there”.
