The client required a pumping solution to remove marine silt and growth from the suction bays of the large pumps that feed the plant with a constant seawater supply. The item was assembled in Perth and shipped to the client with all connections and ready to install.

Due to environmental regulations, the product had to be caught; thus a big geo bag was fitted to capture solids and return seawater to the ocean. Divers were utilised to remove marine growth and silt and push it towards the pump for removal; therefore, the operation was conducted with extreme caution and several safety precautions. A remote Estop was also installed on the HPU, allowing diving control to shut off the pump in an emergency. The installation went off without a hitch, and the system performed just as expected, leaving the client satisfied.
