If you are chasing a rewarding career and job security with Australia’s leading pump, power and compressed air equipment hire specialists, we have got you covered! Join the NPE team as a HIAB Truck Driver for our Laverton Depot in a full-time capacity. This position is Monday – Friday.

Position Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform efficient loading/unloading of gear in the workshop and off-site
  • Timely delivery and returns of our equipment (including generators, pumps, electrical control boards, dewatering gear, pvc pipe works, lay flat hoses etc.)
  • Perform manual handling of equipment to load and collect
  • Processing paperwork daily for all assets/plant and equipment as well as SWMS (Safe work method statements)
  • Perform safety checks as required
  • Assisting other departments to achieve key business objectives as required
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and championing the NPE brand
  • Other duties as directed by your Supervisor 

Skills/ Selection Criteria (qualifications & experience)

Essential:

  • Current HR Driver’s Licence
  • C2 Crane Licence
  • HIAB Certified + Truck and HIAB operating experience
  • Forklift
  • Patient, flexible and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances
  • Ability to read and understand specific delivery instructions

Desirable: 

  • Ability to work well with other team members and champion the NPE brand
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, punctual and good work ethics
